AMM and UBCG sign a Memorandum of Understanding

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Association of Montenegrin Managers (AMM) and the Association of Montenegrin Banks (UBCG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, establishing a framework for more intensive cooperation between business leaders and the banking system in the field of education, digital transformation, and professionalization.
The Memorandum provides for cooperation in the promotion of the managerial and banking professions, improving financial literacy, organizing forums, conferences, and training, as well as supporting projects of importance to the economy.
“Special emphasis has been placed on supporting the AMM Academy project for leadership, management, and corporate governance, the exchange of knowledge and experience, and better familiarization with SEPA standards and the process of payment digitalization,” the Association stated in a press release.
According to Executive Director Andjela Radosavovic, AMM has the privilege of being a meeting point and place of cooperation for business leaders.
“I am especially pleased that AMM and UBCG will mutually support projects and activities important for the development of our organizations, as well as the Montenegrin economy. We are confident that a joint approach will yield good results, create added value for members, and contribute to improving the business environment,” Radosavovic added.
UBCG Secretary General Bratislav Pejakovic stated that joint activities are aim at bringing closer the advantages of new banking standards to the business sector and AMM members, particularly in the field of SEPA processes and digital payments, which will be introduced in the coming years.
“This Memorandum is a confirmation of our commitment to strengthening transparency, education, and accessibility of financial services, created for easier, cheaper, and more efficient business operations for clients, through partnerships with relevant institutions,” Pejakovic concluded.
