Podgorica, (MINA) - Podgorica police have filed a criminal complaint against a councilor in the Zeta Municipal Assembly, D.R., for violent behavior and inflicting serious bodily injuries, the Police Administration has announced.

According to the press release, councilor V.R. reported that he was physically attacked by D.R. in the premises of the Zeta Municipal Assembly.

“On that occasion, V.R. suffered minor physical injuries, while a witness to the incident sustained serious injuries in the form of two fractured fingers”, the police stated in a press release.

The police reported that D.R. physically attacked V.R. striking him on the head and body, and that as a result of the conflict, the witness was also injured when her hand was caught in a door.

The police said that against D.R. a criminal complaint was filed in the regular procedure.
