Podgorica, (MINA) - The incident in the Zeta Municipality premises is the result of many years of inappropriate conduct by local government representatives, which was often aimed at undermining the integrity and dignity of councillors of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), the party said.

The Police Administration filed a criminal complaint against DPS councilor in the Zeta Municipal Assembly Dusan Radonjic for a physical attack on Democratic People’s Party councilor Vesko Rasović.

The DPS Zeta Municipal Board said that Friday incident was the culmination of many years of inappropriate conduct by representatives of the local authorities.

They called for lowering tensions and exercising caution in political discourse , “so as not to cross the line of political debate and enter the zone of personal insults, which are much more difficult to tolerate”.
