Podgorica, (MINA) – The Commission of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has not yet issued an opinion on the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Botun, said Agency director Milan Gazdic, adding that the decision will be made by Friday.

Leader of the Democratic People’s Party Milan Knezevic said earlier on Thursday that he had learned that the Commission had already prepared a positive opinion and granted approval for the construction of the wastewater treatment plant, assessing that this confirms the organized criminal activity against the health of citizens and the environment in Zeta.

Gazdic told TV Vijesti that no opinion has yet been adopted, but that it will be made by Friday.

Knezevic also called on the Special State Prosecutor’s Office to open an investigation into the Commission members, warning that if it fails to do so, he will personally file a criminal complaint.
