Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The head of the parliamentary group of the United Reform Action (URA) Milos Konatar announced that he will once again propose to Parliament an increase in child benefits and compensation for workers whose companies have gone bankrupt.
“This will be a good opportunity for my colleagues from the Europe Now Movement (PES), Democrats, and the Democratic Front (DF) to finally support the increase in child benefits and compensation for workers, and to admit they were wrong not to support these proposals during the last parliamentary vote,” Konatar stated in a press release.
He added that he believes in second chances.
“They cannot reject these proposals as many times as we in URA will keep submitting them. We will not stop until the increases in child benefits and compensation for workers from bankrupt companies are adopted,” Konatar stated.
Konatar also announced that, in addition to the laws on child benefits and worker compensation, URA will once again propose to Parliament an “anti-mafia law” on the confiscation of assets acquired through crime, as well as a law on the establishment of the “Housing for All” state fund.
“We used to propose and adopt all these laws when we were in power, and we will continue to do so now that we are in opposition. We will not give up,” Konatar concluded.
