Podgorica, (MINA) – The Party of European Progress (SEP), driven exclusively by the interests of citizens and the stability of Podgorica, will support the leader of Preokret Movement leader Srdjan Peric as chair of the Capital City Assembly in a technical mandate.

The SEP said that they were glad that the majority of councilors had recognized and supported their idea regarding the need to preserve the functionality of the city administration and local parliament.

“We are particularly proud of the fact that we recognized and fully exposed the current city administration’s clear plan to introduce forced administration through the back door. That scenario – designed behind the citizens’s back in government offices – was intended to enable unlimited and uncontrolled spending of funds through an institutional vacuum”, says the SEP statement.

The party added that their primary motive was to prevent such a blockade and introduce much-needed political order.
