CBCG: 21,180 companies with frozen assets

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the statistics released by the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), there were 21,180 companies and entrepreneurs with frozen accounts at the end of May, 0.18 percent more than in April.
The total debt on the basis of which the accounts had been frozen amounted to €1.69 billion in May, which is 1,14 percent more than the previous month.
Debt concentration was comparatively high, with ten largest debtors sharing as much as 39.26 percent of the total debt.
Their frozen assets amounted to €664.65 million in total.
Of their total combined debt, 57.53 percent has been incurred by 50 largest debtors or only 0.24 percent of all registered debtors.
