Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The National Tourism Organization (NTO) hosted representatives of influential Serbian media outlets who, during a study visit, had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Montenegro’s diverse tourism offering and explore some of the country’s most important attractions in both the north and the south.
Among the journalists who visited Montenegro were representatives of RTS, TV Prva, Vecernje Novosti, Telegraf, Euronews, and B92.
The visit began in Kolasin, where the journalists toured Biogradsko Lake, enjoyed the authentic atmosphere of the village of Gornje Lipovo, and took part in activities such as horseback riding, which uniquely showcase the natural beauty and active tourism opportunities of northern Montenegro.
They then spent three days on the Montenegrin coast, visiting Risan, Lustica, Herceg Novi, Mamula Island, the Kotor–Lovcen cable car, as well as Kotor, Budva, and Cetinje.
They had the opportunity to explore the country’s cultural and historical heritage, natural attractions, and luxury hotels.
Participants were particularly impressed by the diversity of Montenegro’s tourism products and the ability to experience a complete contrast between mountain and coastal landscapes within a short period of time.
