EKIP: More broadband connections at the end of April

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There were 211,140 broadband connections in Montenegro at the end of April, regardless of the access technology used, slightly more than in March.

 

Compared to last year’s corresponding period, the number of broadband connections increased by 2.06 percent in April. 

 

According to the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Service (EKIP), there were 114,490 fibre-optic (FTTH/B), 52,440 cable distribution (HFC/CDS), 27,770 VDSL, 14,170 ADSL, and 1,940 WiFi internet connections, while there were 336 other connections (satellite internet, MPLS, leased lines) in this period.
