Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development Nik Gjeloshaj, more than 23,500 companies had submitted applications to align their operations with the new legislation by the deadline for compliance with the new Law on Business Organizations.
“Given that around 30,000 active companies are estimated to operate in Montenegro, nearly 80 percent have fulfilled their legal obligation, demonstrating the business community’s responsible approach to reforms aimed at improving the business environment and aligning it with European standards,” Gjeloshaj said in a press release.
He called on the remaining active companies to complete the compliance process as soon as possible and fulfil their legal obligations.
“We would like to thank business entities and the competent institutions for the successful implementation of this important reform process,” Gjeloshaj said.
