Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Ministry of Economic Development is working on a software solution for the Craftsmen Register, which will become operational after 1 March.
“This means that 13 February, which has been mentioned publicly as a deadline for registration, is not binding for craftsmen, and claims regarding the level of fines are inaccurate,” the Ministry stated, reminding the public that the Crafts Chamber is responsible for maintaining the Register.
The Ministry stated that there is no reason for concern, noting that the rights and obligations of craftsmen are clearly defined by applicable regulations, while public institutions stand behind their consistent and lawful implementation.
“Any potential ambiguities are resolved through official channels and in communication with the relevant authorities, not through media statements that are not based on facts,” the Ministry added.
The Ministry noted that, as the authority responsible for interpreting and supervising the implementation of the Law on Crafts, it is obliged to respond to false information that caused concern and confusion among craftsmen.
